What does the comprehensive motor policy cover?
A Comprehensive Motor Policy covers your vehicle against:
- Accidental damage

Can I have my vehicle repaired at the work shop of my choice?
Yes, you can have the vehicle repaired at the workshop of your own
choice. With an Policy for less approved workshop the bill is directly settled by
the company, however if it’s not on Policy for less's approved list, then the bill
will be reimbursed by the Company to you as per terms and conditions of
the policy.
How long does claim settlement take?
Accidental damage and theft /total loss claims are settled within 5 working days after submission of the completed Claim Form and all required documents.
Who do I contact in case of a claim?
Please contact your nearest Policy for less branch or call us on our number +971 55 996 2172 or email us on support@policyforless.com and you would be assisted by our call center representative for registration of the claim with the relevant branch.
In whose name should the policy be taken?
The policy should be taken in the name of the registered owner of the vehicle.
Can a policy be taken for an unregistered vehicle?
Insurance can be taken for an unregistered vehicle however, the policy
becomes null and void if the registration documents are not provided
with 15 days.
Can the policy be transferred in the name of an immediate family, member?
Yes, the policy may be transferred to another immediate family member provided that they have a valid driver’s license along with the registration of the vehicle transferred in their name.
From when shall the cover start?
The cover shall start as soon as the premium is paid and confirmation is received for realization of the cheque from the bank.
What shall be the process for renewal of the policy?
The renewal notice shall be sent to you one month prior to the expiry of the policy after which you may contact the relevant branch for renewal of the policy.
What do I do in case I wish to have the policy cancelled?
The policy may be cancelled by informing the relevant branch through
letter stating the reason for cancellation and the date from which the
policy is to be cancelled .The original policy & certificate of
insurance will also be returned with the letter.
What are the Key Exclusions under the Motor policy?
Key exclusions under the policy are:
- Wear & Tear
- Mechanical / Electrical Break down
- Consequential Loss
- Loss/damages due to War, Mutiny or Nuclear Risks
- Any Loss out of geographical area
- Loss arising from theft or criminal act or breach of trust by the Insured’s driver or known person
What documents are required at the time of policy issuance?
- Completed Proposal Form
- Copy of CNIC of registered owner of the vehicle
- Valid Driving License
- In case of new vehicle Manufacturer’s & Sales Invoice, Tax Paid Challan
- Copy of Registration Book
- Inspection Report
